METROPOLITAN CLASSICAL BALLET OPENS
NUTCRACKER SHOP IN ARLINGTON

ARLINGTON, Texas - Metropolitan Classical Ballet's studio and administrative office located at 500 West Abram in Arlington has once again been transformed into a winter wonderland for the grand opening of The Nutcracker Shop scheduled for November 15th. Shoppers can enjoy a fantasy-shopping extravaganza offering one of the best selections of holiday giftware in the area. Selections include lacquered boxes from Russia, Christmas ornaments, porcelain dolls, handcrafted gifts, toys and nutcrackers galore (Including Steinbach). Proceeds benefit Metropolitan Classical Ballet.

The Nutcracker Shop will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Special holiday hours will be announced closer to the holidays. Guests can also purchase their tickets to The Nutcracker performances while visiting The Nutcracker Shop.

Performances will be held at Texas Hall on the campus of the University of Texas in Arlington on Friday, December 17th at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 18th at 2:00 pm and 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 19th at 2:00 p.m. All performances will be accompanied by the Texas Chamber Orchestra.
